Bugatti has always been an amazing vehicle with beautiful coach built bodies. This example is a 1934 Type 57 S with a one-of Graber body that boasts aluminum fenders and other panels.
Our portion of the work entailed restoring the aluminum fenders which were badly twisted & misshapen. These extremely long fenders create their own set of challenges especially when welding them. A slight amount of heat can distort the fender by an inch in its overall length so extreme care & precision need to be practiced.
Our panel beaters were able to fabricate new wired edging, shock covers and a few patches while persuading the fenders into the shape they should be.
We are proud of our staff, the challenges that presented themselves on this project surpassed the abilities of most craftsmen yet these guys brought this one-of Bugatti to its former glory in a timely manor.
Years of experience along with the correct tooling were key in this project. If you have a project that seems to be “impossible”, give us a try, we trust you won’t be disappointed.
